Step Two: Add Page Number to PDF Files

Once you’ve chosen your files, you can use Tweak PDF Manager’s handy drag-and-drop service. This is useful because it allows you to drag your files to the center of your screen, over the PDF page icon. When you let go of the mouse, your file will be uploaded straight away.

Once you’ve uploaded your file, it should appear in the center of your screen pretty quickly. Now you will have the chance to choose the type of page numbers you’d like to add to your PDF document.

Firstly, you can choose if you’d like the page numbers to appear as a single page or a set of facing pages. A facing page is one side of one leaf of a book or magazine. On facing pages, the page number is usually put in the center of the bottom of the page. Then you can select where on the page you’d prefer your page numbers to be - top or bottom.

Tweak PDF Manager also gives you the chance to write a range for the pages you want numbered and to type the number which you would like begin with.

Next, you can specify where on the page you would like your number to appear. For example, bottom right-hand corner and top center are two possible choices.

Tweak PDF Manager helps you choose the font size and typography for your page numbers, along with the color of the text.

Lastly, you can choose the format of the writing you would like. For example, ‘page 12 of 20’, simply, ‘page 12’ or just a number. You can also customize this, if you’d prefer and you find that your preferred settings are not there.

Step Three: Download Your File

Depending on the type of computer and web browser you have, your PDF file, now with page numbers, might download automatically.

If it doesn’t, you can always click the ‘download PDF’ button and your file should download into the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
